European Capital of Culture 2017

Last night it was the official opening of the European Capital of Culture 2017 in the city where i live. I was debating wether to go or not, but they kinda decided for me that i SHOULD go with them! And I did not regret it. It was very beautiful and we enjoyed watching the parade, the lights and firework!

After the things were over we decided that we wanted to eat. That is when the problem of “where to at” occurred. We did end in a burger restaurant which I had never been at and the food was amazing!
The programme for the European Capital of Culture 2017 will be amazing! There will be things from full moon events to performing arts, design and litterature happenings. So if you are nearby Aarhus you should definitely visit!

The next two pictures is from the official instagram account for the capital of culture: aarhus_2017. I wanted to get pictures of the parade and the fireworks but I couldn’t get a good picture myself.

A Little Work-Trip

I have been so lucky to go to Copenhagen because of my job and I had so much fun!
We had something called a kick-off where we try out new things from a brand we will promote, get to know new people, learn new things and of course, not to forget, have a lot of fun!

I was in Copenhagen from tuesday until thursday and it wa smy first kick-off and even though it was hard and long days, it really was amazing and fun to try.
Copenhagen is an amazing city and I would have loved to see it more than I did these days. I was very busy and did not get any freetime to go see the city and the things it has to offer. But I have decided that I really wanna go there again soon. Like on a mini vacation or a weekend.

And I tried to travel by train by myself for the first time. I know that is so stupid that I never did that before. I have tried to travel by train before but never by myself, but I discovered that I actually enjoy it a lot! So of course I had to take my phon out and take a little sneaky picture of the trip.

I just wanted to update a little bit, because I have been away for some time now because of a very busy and hectic schedule. But I think that I will from now on have a little more time to update and be more active.

I will look forward to be able to write more , because I have actually missed it a bit!

Destination: Vacation!

When this post is published I will be on vacation and enjoying the rest of my summer in Bosnia! But now as I am writing this post I am so excited to be going back to Bosnia again. As you know I have been living in Sarajevo for a semester and studying there, so I am very much looking forward to be back again!
And the best thing is that it seems like it will be good weather when I am supposed to be there! That is amazing news, because I would lie if I said that the summer here in Denmark was any good… Well, there was a couple of hot days but I was inside writing my paper! So I did not get much out of the summer here ind Denmark unfortunately.

I think that this was it, I just wanted to give you a little update! I hope you all are enjoying your summer too!

Visiting Oslo

Hello everybody!

I am currently in Oslo in Norway but I wanted to make a post about my first whole  day here! I can say that I am in love. The city is really beautiful and I have been out and about seeing all that I could in the couple of free hours I had. I got to the the sculpture park, which is truly amazing! Unfortunatly it began to rain, but it was great anyways. I also got to see the Fortress, the palace where the queen lives and of course I had to see the Operahouse!

I prepared a couple od pictures also, of course! edited_DSC_0186IMG_20160804_170920IMG_20160805_201234IMG_20160805_201125IMG_20160805_201142IMG_20160805_201305

Adventures In Norway

Next week I will be heading off to the beautiful Norway and I will be attending a wedding there and I will have the opportunity to stay there for a couple of days before and after the wedding.

I am really looking forward to the wedding and to see my family and just have an amazing time at the wedding. I really love weddings! To be able to witness the happiness between two people who truly love each other and are saying yes to spend the rest of their lives with each other. You can call me a hopeless romantic, but you cannot deny that weddings are the special times where you feel that love overcomes everything.

I  have been in Norway a couple of times, but I have always gone to a city called Stavanger in the southern part of Norway. But this time I will be in Oslo for a couple of days and I really cannot wait. I have never been in Oslo and I am looking forward to see the city!
I want to see as much as possible while I am there and want to really experience Oslo the right way!

I really would like to see the National Museum, Akerhus Fortress, The Norwegian National opera and ballet, The Norwegian Folk Museum, Vigeland Sculpture Park and of course I would never visit a country without getting a little souvenir. Maybe I can even get to shop a little bit with mom and dad.

If some of you guys have been to Oslo or somewhere that is not a long drive away  and have some ideas or places that would be good to visit, then please write! I would love to get some ideas! Especially something in nature, maybe some lakes or waterfalls or something like that!

Dreams And Future Plans

The world is such an amazing place and I have always wanted to see it all. I have always been a very curious girl and I have always wanted to now everything about everything…

As long as I can remeber I have always had the dream to see almost every country there is! I would love to explore the different countries, their culture, language, history, try the food and meet people from all around the world. That is probably one of my biggest dreams!
I have always been very interested in different countries, languages and cultures so I have kind of always tried to find different possibilities on how I could be able to reach or fulfill my dream.

I have visited some countries and I really loved it, it was everything I dreamt about! I cannot really brag about that I have been many places but some of my favorite places I have been could probably be Paris in France, Antalya in Turkey and Krakow in Poland!
Of course I also love Sarajevo, I’ve been there to study for a semester, but I have been there many times before that, so I kind of feel that Sarajevo is my second home, therefore I feel that Sarajevo does not really count.

I would love to have the opportunity to travel as much as I can and therefore I have been looking at the opportunities. I would say that I have come up with a really good plan! So, if everything goes as planned and of course if everthing goes as I would like it to, I will be applying to work as a flight attendant, for some time, to explore the world and see as much as possible.

This will of course be after I finish my bachelor degree. I would take a brake from University and earn some money as a flight attendant and most importantly be able to see and explore the world like that.
That is my dream and plan for now, but nothing is really sure right now. But I really hope that they will accept me so I can be able to work and enjoy my life like I have always dreamt about!

I guess, the point I wanted to really get across is that we all have dreams and they are something that makes us the person we are. Some dreams become reality, some doesn’t, that’s just the way life goes. But in the end it is important never to go without having a dream. Whether it’s a little dream or a big dream, do whatever your can to make it a reality, because if the dream didn’t matter to you, you wouldn’t be dreaming about making it reality.Always have dreams and goals for yourselves and try your best to achieve them!
Don’t be trapped in someone elses dream! Don’t make someone elses dreams your reality!

Go and have your own dreams for you and your life. Make your current dreams a reality and make new dreams and find a way to make them reality too.. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you are not worthy of something or that your dreams are not achievable or stupid!

Back in Denmark

My amazing time in Sarajevo is officially over and I am back in Denmark.
I truly miss it and I am so glad that i had the chance to experience the life there and be a local in an amazing and very interesting city.
My time there has been filled with so many different things! I’ve studied at the university in Sarajevo and learned a lot. But of course besides that I have become friends with amazing people down there.

In the beginning a friend from Denmark was with me in Sarajevo, she was supposed to study there too… But she had a hard time understanding the language at the university and after a couple of classes she stopped. Eventually she left Bosnia very early and went back to Denmark. I was a bit scared and nervous because I was now all alone and new there and did not know anyone there. It was hard at first, I have to admit it. I was very lucky that the othe students were so nice and friendly towards me. The students all talked to me and we got to know each other and it eventually turned into many good friendships!

I just wanted to share some pictures i took while I was there. I have been gone for some time now, but I am going to try to keep it up now and write a bit more. At least after my exams are over! They are taking a lot of my time right now.

Well, that’s it for today.
